Steve Jobs was famously quoted as saying “real artists ship.” With that in mind, my friend and colleague Rick Caughman is truly an artist in every sense of the word. Great ideas come to many of us frequently; fewer have the ability to turn them into something real.
Nothing could be more real than Rick’s inventive and colorful canvases. He puts up shows with amazing frequency, and the next is coming on Saturday, March 13. Come support his work, and enjoy a glass of wine at the always enjoyable dA Center for the Arts.
There’s much talk about being creative and brainstorming in business. Still, it’s far more inspiring to find folks who actually put their ideas into action. Let’s take a lesson from Rick, and learn to ship. There’s art in everything you do, if you take the time to find it.
